Not all children are children by blood; there are also children of the heart, who dwell in the soul and the heart.
When you are a teacher, God bestows many gifts upon you; He grants you many children.
You must safeguard the trust God has placed in your hands regarding them, nurture them wisely, be the best shepherd, the best role model, the best father and mother to them, be a teacher in word and deed.
Offer them love and support continuously, give them self-confidence, address their problems, listen to them, and be the best and most trustworthy advisor.
You must be patient and compassionate with them, prioritizing character over knowledge and instilling in them values that will make them the best of people.
Then you will find the fruits of your labor with them; they will never be in vain.
Sow, love, and you will reap many times over in their hearts. They will always remember you fondly, perhaps with a sincere prayer, perhaps with a heartfelt smile reflecting on beautiful memories you shared, perhaps with knowledge they benefited from, or with advice that proved invaluable.
When you find polite students and dear children asking about you, despite the passage of time and distance, know that you have reaped the sweetest fruits of love and the most precious gifts of life.
O God, perpetuate this feeling within us and make us a pleasant memory in everyone’s hearts, a beautiful legacy, and a good example, passing through life lightly and causing no harm.
O Lord, grant us the children of our hearts and souls and always accept our prayers for their righteousness and success. Make them grow in goodness, and grant them success and happiness in this life and the hereafter.
O God, perpetuate love, affection, loyalty, and sincerity among us.
And protect all our daughters and sons, O Lord, in this life.
