Emma and Leo lived in a quiet village surrounded by green hills and blue skies. Every morning, they walked to school together, carrying their books and dreams in their backpacks.
One sunny morning, as they crossed the old wooden bridge, they saw a small puppy stuck in the mud near the river. Without thinking twice, Leo jumped down and helped the puppy out. Emma used her scarf to clean its paws.
They took the puppy to school, and their teacher, Miss Clara, smiled and said, “You both showed great kindness today. That’s a lesson more important than any in the books.”
From that day on, the puppy, named Lucky, waited for them at the bridge every morning. It was a small act of care, but it changed their routine—and their hearts—forever.
