Grief is not a single storm; it is a quiet, persistent rain that falls long after the clouds have gathered. When someone you love leaves, the world doesn’t stop, and that is perhaps the cruelest part. The sun still rises, the streets remain busy, and the clocks keep ticking, oblivious to the fact that a piece of your universe has collapsed.

The pain of parting is found in the small things: the empty chair at the dinner table, the unsent text message, or the sudden urge to share a joke with someone who is no longer there to hear it. It is a hollow ache in the chest, a reminder that love, in its most honest form, carries the risk of profound loss.

Yet, we carry on. We bridge the gap between “together” and “apart” by holding onto memories. These memories are like stars; they don’t replace the sun, but they help us navigate the darkness. We learn that healing isn’t about forgetting, but about finding a way to live around the silence.
