Homelessness is a serious social issue affecting millions of people worldwide. It occurs when individuals lack stable, safe, and adequate housing. Causes of homelessness include poverty, unemployment, family breakdown, and lack of affordable housing. Many homeless people also struggle with mental health issues or addiction, making their situation more difficult. Living without shelter exposes individuals to harsh weather, hunger, and insecurity. Society must address this problem through support programs, job opportunities, and accessible housing. Helping the homeless is not just an act of charity, but a step toward creating a more just and compassionate community.
