Once upon a time, in a sunny green valley, there was a place called Happy Farm. It was home to all kinds of animals: cows that mooed like lullabies, chickens that clucked cheerful songs, sheep that told bedtime stories, and even a grumpy old goat named Gus who secretly loved to laugh.

The farm was called Happy because the animals worked together like one big family. Every morning, Farmer Lily would visit each of them with a smile and a kind word.

But one day, something changed.

It started when Benny the Rooster refused to sing his morning song.

“I’m tired,” Benny sighed. “I always have to wake everyone up. Why can’t someone else do it for once?”

The farm grew quiet. The cows didn’t know when to moo, the sheep didn’t know when to go grazing, and even the ducks forgot their morning swim.

The animals gathered by the barn, confused and a little cranky.

“That’s not fair,” said Daisy the Cow. “We all rely on Benny, but maybe we didn’t say thank you enough.”

Gus the Goat grumbled, “No one ever thanks me for eating the weeds!”

“I didn’t know that was helpful,” said a little chick. “I just thought you were always hungry.”

That night, the animals made a plan. The next morning, when Benny opened one eye, he heard a sound:

“Cock-a-doodle-doo!”

It was Daisy the Cow trying her best! Then came the sheep, the pigs, even the barn cat meowing in rhythm.

Benny laughed so hard he almost fell off his perch.

“We just wanted you to feel seen,” said the sheep. “Because every job on the farm matters.”

Benny stretched his wings. “Thanks, friends. I guess I forgot that I wasn’t alone.”

From that day on, Happy Farm was happier than ever—not because the sun was brighter or the grass was greener, but because everyone remembered to say two magic words:

“Thank you

Moral of the Story:

Every role, big or small, is important—and kindness makes any place a happy one.
