Talking about friendship never ends; it is another home for us. It is not a fleeting relationship, but an unwritten pact in which we find an echo of our souls and a refuge for our worries. It is that space that gives us the luxury to be ourselves in all our spontaneity without the need to wear masks or justify our actions.
A true friend is your mirror, not embellishing your flaws, but lovingly showing them to you so you can improve. They are the one who tells you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. They are the first to applaud your successes and the first to be there when you stumble.
They say that friendship is one mind in two bodies. It’s the feeling that you are not alone in facing the world. In the presence of a friend, worries lessen, and challenges become mere stories we’ll laugh about later.
In a time of self-interest, true friendship stands out as a rare commodity.
To feel safe. To speak without rehearsing your words.
To lean on someone’s back with the confidence that you won’t fall.
That neither long absence nor great distance can change it.
For friendship is the only rose without thorns.
