Everything beautiful ends quickly. It doesn’t last.
Everyone close to our hearts, every confidant, every source of security, every haven of comfort, everything that resembles us, everyone who understands us.
We barely feel a sense of belonging, a shared experience, a lost trust, before we awaken to a reality that pulls everything away.
We barely glimpse a glimmer of hope for happiness before its flame is quickly extinguished.
It’s as if we’re destined to live with this feeling of loss for a lifetime.
We’re missing so much.
We’re missing genuine brothers and friends.
We’re missing their lighthearted presence, their cheerful spirits, our laughter, our shared opinions, our shared feelings, and their respect.
We’re missing the trust that was always there with them, the spiritual security that was complete with them.
We’re missing life itself.
